The following global policies apply to all players and staff within Chemical RP. These rules exist to protect the community, content creators, and the integrity of RP in the city.
Chemical RP is an inclusive community built on respect, fairness, and mature roleplay. These expectations help ensure a safe, fair, and immersive environment for everyone.
Character creation is your first impression on the city. These rules exist to keep RP believable, respectful, and streamer-safe while still letting you be creative.
Chemical RP requires players to stay in character at all times unless directly instructed by staff. Your immersion and the immersion of others depends on maintaining the line between IC and OOC.
The New Life Rule controls what your character remembers and how you behave after being downed or “going to the light.” These rules apply to everyone in the city, including PD and EMS.
Power Gaming is when a person abuses in-game mechanics or systems to gain an unfair advantage — also known as exploiting. If you’re forcing outcomes, ignoring RP, or using game systems in ways they were never meant to be used, you’re power gaming.
/cashregister or /cashgive to get someone’s ID or name.
You also cannot give someone else’s ID number to pay for something or to avoid going to jail.
Combat logging is leaving the server to avoid RP consequences, outcomes, or continuation of a scene. If you’re involved in any active RP or government situation, you must stay in the city until the scene has fully concluded.
The “scene area” includes anywhere within direct line of sight of the ongoing situation.
The person who gets aimed at first must fear the gun. Having your gun out by your side does NOT count.
“First point controls the scene.”
If your group has fewer people than the group pointing guns (2:3, 6:9, 12:19, etc.), you MUST comply — all of you.
You must treat interactions with law enforcement realistically. This includes respecting police presence, avoiding intentional baiting, and understanding that officers have legal authority your character should fear.
Criminals and law enforcement should interact in a way that feels realistic, fair, and fun. These rules outline what both sides can and cannot do during stops, chases, heists, and scenes.
EMS is here for medical roleplay, not just respawns. You are expected to treat EMS as actual medical professionals and respect their time, decisions, and authority in medical situations.
Tsunamis are scheduled server restarts. Players are expected to plan scenes responsibly and ensure roleplay can conclude cleanly before a restart.
These rules apply specifically to situations where there is an intent to rob. They do not apply if someone is killed purely for beef and then robbed afterward.
This section covers Multi-Job rules, whitelisted job limits, and business robbery caps. These rules exist to prevent exploiting and to keep the economy and roleplay balanced.
These rules apply to all players at all times and are meant to ensure fair gameplay, realistic roleplay, and a healthy server environment.
These rules control robberies, police response limits, contesting rules, and demand standards. If you try to “rules lawyer” this section, staff is gonna treat it like a confession.

PC checks protect the server from unfair advantages. If you’re clean, you’re good. If you’re not… well, staff isn’t running a charity.
Chemical RP prioritizes immersion while still ensuring proper documentation and fairness when rule violations or disputes occur.
In-city reports will be handled live in the city whenever possible. Staff will attempt to resolve situations in real time to keep roleplay moving and avoid unnecessary interruptions.
A Discord ticket may be required if evidence needs to be logged, reviewed, or preserved. This includes video clips, screenshots, logs, or any situation that requires follow-up outside of the active scene.
If a Discord ticket is required, a staff member will notify you directly within that ticket. Do not repeatedly inquire about the status of a ticket while in city unless staff explicitly instructs you to do so.
Failure to follow staff direction regarding report handling or ticket communication may result in additional action.
